Expanded Solutions grating costs less than bar-type or sheet metal grating and is easier to install in new or replacement applications.
One of the major purpose for Expanded Metal is grating. They come in 2 types: Light and Heavy grating.
Materials : Expanded metal grating can be manufactured in Aluminium, Stainless steel, Mild steel, and other metals.
Patterns for Gratings : Diamond, square, round, triangle, scale hole.
Sizes: Thickness from 0.50mm to 8.00mm. Hole width from 2.500mm to 50mm. Hole length from 4.50mm to 100mm. Openness from 0.50mm to 8.00mm.
Features : Using expanded metal grating or expanded metal mesh is to ensure safety, strength and anti-skid surface of the most economical manner, especially on the runway, working platforms.
Because it is very easy to cut into the shape of irregular, rapid welding can quickly install or use accessories. Projection Mesh Expanded Metal Safety Grating features small tooth-like projections on the upper surface of the mesh. Weight Identification : Expanded Metal Grating is identified by weight per square foot. Carbon Steel Expanded Metal Grating is available in 3, 3.14, 4, 4.27, 5, 6.25 and 7 pounds per square foot. Aluminum Expanded Metal Grating is available in 2 pounds per square foot and Stainless Steel Expanded Metal Grating is available in 3.3 and 4.5 pounds per square foot.
Uses : The normal applications are fences for walk ways, partitions, making of corner beads, gates and laths, tread plates, stair protection, etc.

The uncut knuckles support weight and withstand stress better than jointed welded wire mesh or woven wire materials.
