Affinity and can desulfurize hot metal to a extra low content (up to 0.001% or below)
With small consumption. The iron loss is low because of a low quantity of slag.
The shorter injection time results in a lower temperature drop of hot metal and a
Low comprehensive desulfurating cost .Compared to the other Magnesium powders
That are shaped by cutting and then passivated , the advantages of the reagent are safe
and reliable .Because of the protection of salt file, the product can not result in Magnesium
dust when it is transported and handled ,that eliminates thoroughly the hidden troubles
in safety such as fire and explosion. In addition, the Magnesium content can not
be lowered because of oxygenation when it is stored for a long time. The product, like
other Magnesium powders, can be used with calcium desulfurization reagents (mixing
blow),especially suitable for single blow. In the mixing blow, the coated granulated
Magnesium has good fluidity with uniform feed and is not same as the other Magnesium
Powders that often appear ¡°pulse phenomenon¡± when they are fed. Meanwhile, the product
does not stain or block the spray gun, and is easy to use. Under the condition of the same
desulfurization deepness, the unit consumption of the Magnesium desulfurization reagent
in single blowing is lower than that of the reagent in mixing blowing.
