Besides, this material can also be used for special purposes indoors such as absorbing sound and dust.
Magma is brought to the surface of the earth when a volcano erupts. Free from the underground pressure, it cools down quickly and forms many gas holes( with a percentage of about 10%). The tiny holes(smaller than 1mm) have even distribution, while the bigger holes (about 5-10mm) are unevenly distributive like a honeycomb, thus the vesuvianite is also called honeycomb stone
