PVC PALL RING is the result of the post chlorination of PVC. The level of chlorine is increased from 56-57%, up to as high as 74%, although typically most commercial CPVC resins contain 63 to 69% chlorine. This increase in chlorine level raises CPVC’s maximum operating temperature to 200°F, over PVC’s maximum operating temperature of 140°F. Plastic materials for the production of packings for towers have recently been used in many application fields in which formerly were restricted to metals and ceramic materials.
Selection of plastic materials depends on chemical resistance, temperature stability and mechanical strength. Polypropylene has good resistance to chemicals at temperatures up to more than 100 deg.C, polypropylene is superior to polyethylene in most fields.

Polyvinylidene fluoride, or polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer produced by the polymerization of vinylidene difluoride.
PVDF is a specialty plastic material in the fluoropolymer family; it is used generally in applications requiring the highest purity, strength, and resistance to solvents, acids, bases and heat and low smoke generation during a fire event. Compared to other fluoropolymers, it has an easier melt process because of its relatively low melting point of around 177 °C.


KYNAR PVDF Tri pack design further prevents dry spots and compression interlock, two phenomena common to traditional packing media, both of which cause liquid and air channeling and decrease media efficiency.
Note: surface area alone does not guarantee performance. Excess surface area can impede gas/liquid contact and create higher pressure drops, thus increasing horsepower requirements and operating expense. Tri-Pack Media tower packing provides the optimum surface-to-open-area ratio for achieving best mass transfer efficiency and lowest operating costs. It is the industry standard for random dump tower packing media. 1. Purpose
We have produced and sold successfully plastic packing TELLERETTE as used for gas scrubbing for over twenty years.
As this packing has excellent features of mass and heat transfer efficiency for gas absorption, air conditioning, etc., it has been used as packing of high corrosion resistance and low pressure drop with extensive application for Gas Absorber, Cooling Tower, Deaerator, Reactor and other gas-liquid contact systems.
Various data on equilibrium, design and materials based on a long experience in using the packing are available on request.
2. Performance
"TELLERETTE" originated from spiral shape of packing made of polyethylene under the licence from Dr. Teller in the 1960s. Since then, we have developed and improved the production method by ourselves and following kinds are available at present:

3. Characteristics
1) This form of packing is designed not to provide downward liquid flow with dead spots but large effective surface area per unit packing volume.
2) Excellent liquid distribution and uniformity are obtained, because of a large number of branching and junction, in addition to curve structure of the packing.
3) Reduction in pressure drop attained by filament-shape with large void space enables fans or blowers to require less electrical power (energy saving).
4) Packing made of synthetic resin means good chemical corrosion resistance and increased structural strength.
5) Light weight means easy handling to fill in and out.

STYLE FEATURES
H-Style Can permit highest vapour velocities for mist load than any other styles. Used in case of low-pressure loss is required, or when blocking-up may occur, or when the removal of larger mist or high efficiency is not required. Usually used 150 m/m thickness. As for the efficiency equivalent to SL-Style, used in 200 m/m thickness
N-Style For all round use. It has 95-99% efficiency against 8μ mist at 1-5 m/sec velocity.
SL-Style Used when high efficiency is required. Though pressure loss is increased slightly, it is considered to have 95-98% efficiency against 3μ mist at 1-6 m/sec velocity. This S-Style is especially needed when approximately 90% efficiency at 1 m/sec velocity is required.
T-Style Used when removing of approximately 2μ-3μ mist. Especially when the entrainment is 1.0 gr/m³ or less; 200 m/m to 300 m/m thickness is used.
R-Style Used for removing of every minute mist of approximately 1μ. The most efficient type for its thickness.
