Electrical Tape is a highly conformable self-fusing EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) based, high voltage splicing tape. It is a non-vulcanizing, shelf stable tape with excellent electrical properties. Self-adhesive Tape can be used as an insulation for low-voltage applications as well as an insulation for splices up to 69kV

DESCRIPTION
Self-adhesive tape is an insulating, self-amalgamating rubber tape. White/Black released liner.
APPLICATIONS
For jointing and repairing a wide range of solid dielectric power cables up to 20 kV.
For insulation, waterproofing and protection of electrical components.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
1:Excellent physical and electrical properties with a high degree of stability under conditions of use.
2:The tape amalgamates rapidly when applied under tension to provide a void-free homogeneous wrapping,without the need for external heat or pressure.
3:Compatible with a wide range of rubber and plastic dielectric cable insulation.
4:The tape will remove cleanly when cut, allowing it to be used as temporary insulation or protection.
5:The tape should be protected by anti-ultraviolet material during using.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Care should be taken to avoid direct contact between the tape and petroleum-type solvents and oils. Oils may affect the electrical properties of the tape.
The rolls should be stored flat on their cut edges in the original packaging. The product must be protected from dust, heat, moisture, direct sunlight and solvent fumes. Storage temperature between +10°C and +30°C. Underthese conditions, the storage life of the tape in a temperate climate will be at least one year. |

The braided copper wire is made by braiding a number of spindles(24,36,48) of best quality round wires(0.10, 0.15, 0.20) or soft tinned wires(0.10, 0.15) to become single layer or multilayer type.
DC resistivity of copper braided wire (20℃) is not more than 0.022Ω.mm2/m, and the tinned one is not more than 0.0234Ω.mm2/m. |

Product Description:
Electrical Shielding Tape is an all-metal,open-weave, shielding braid tape in a flat, cable-like form. It is conformable due to the open-weave knit construction of two No. 36 AWG tinned copper wires.
Conducting metal tape must be woven of No. 36 AWG tinned copper wire and be capable of operating at the emergency cable temperature of 130centidegree /266 degree F. It must be usable uncovered, indoors and outdoors, in a highly stretched condition without corroding, tearing or splitting. It must be nonflammable and be compatible with cable oils, common solvents, adhesives, and high-voltage splicing and terminating insulations.

METHODS OF APPLYING EMC SHIELDING TAPE EMC SHIELDING TAPE
Should be wrapped around the cable assembly. Wrap the main cable and terminate the tape before beginning to wrap the cable branch . Start and end all helical wrapping with a minimum of wro overlapping circumferential wraps . At branch connections., start at least 4 in (100mm) before and after branch to assure adequate EMC SHIELDING TAPE coverage at the "V" section. Branch connections should not be designed to occur within 4 in (100mm) or each other .
Recommended lead for most applications is 0.50 in. (13mm) , although some additional shielding will be achieved when utilizing a 0.25in.(6mm) lead The length of EMC SHIELDING TAPE required for each cable using theres two types of lead wraps can be obtained by referring to Figure 2. |
