Applications of pad printing silicone rubber
Pad printing silicone rubber is mainly use for printing irregular patterns of plastic toys, electroplating toys, trade makers. The printing pad is a carrier which transfers the patterns on the steel plate onto the surface of the toys or products.
Features of pad printing silicone rubber
Pad printing silicone rubber has the advanced features of abrasion resistance, good printing effects and has no impurities. Meanwhile, pad printing silicone rubber is permanent and durable. Different colors are available if requested and we also provide free catalyst if you need it.
Operating instructions of pad printing silicone rubber
Pad printing silicone rubber is a kind of two-components silicone. Part A is the liquid silicone rubber, part B is the catalyst. Generally, the mxing ratio of silicone rubber and catalyst is 100 : 2 to 100:3 which means you can add 2-3 g catalyst if you take 100g liquid silicone rubber. Remember to mix them evenly and pour it on your mold. 2-4 hours later, you can obtain a printing pad.
Frequently asked question of pad printing silicone rubber:
The reasons why the silicone pad has a short service life are listed as follows:
(1)The problem caused by inappropriate filtration of silicone rubber, and impurities in the packaging process due to the uncleanness of barrels and bags.
(2)The short service life of the silicone pad has a close relationship with the adding amount of silicone oil. The more the silicone oil added, the softer the silicone pad will be. The silicone oil will destroy the molecule of the silicone rubber, thereby bringing about the non-durable and easy ageing of the silicone pad.
(3)All the users should know the properties of pad printing silicone rubber. The service life of the silicone pad has close relationship with the size of the printed patterns. For example, if a big pattern to be printed, a big silicone pad is required; if a small pattern to be printed, a small silicone pad (the silicone pad has to be adjusted according to the size of the patterns, and the proportion between the size of the silicone pad and the pattern is 3:1.)

Manual mold silicon rubber has the features of good elasticity, non-deformation, high temperature resistance, good tensile strength and low shrinkage. The reproduction times are determined by the requirements of customers.
Operations of manual mold silicone rubber
Firstly, prepare the model mold or the product to be duplicated, take certain amount of silicon rubber, add 2-3% solid curing agent, and mix evenly. Then the mixed silicone rubber is ready for use. One mold can be solidified and formed in 2-3 hours.
(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicon oil. If a special soft silicon mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicon oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demolding.)

Features of molding silicone rubber
Molding silicone rubber is a kind of white or red flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A° after curing. Molding silicon rubber is elastic and high-temperature resistant and acid & alkali resistant. Molding silicone rubber also has the features of non-deformation, good tension and high tensile and tear strength.
Operations of molding silicone rubber
If the customer wants to make large products and large sized molds, the mold should be made of silicon rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, customers need to chose the silicone rubber with low hardness when making the molds with fine and precision patterns. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If molds requires fast drying and demold, more curing agent is needed. Contrarily, less curing agent is needed if molds requires slower drying and demold.
(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicone oil. If a special soft silicone mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demolding.)

Why does the silicone rubber mold have few molding times?
The silicone rubber mold has few molding times is due to follwoing reasons: adding too much silicone oil which will destroy the molecular of silicone rubber; making the mold for small and fine detailed products with higher hardness silicone rubber which is easy to break; making the mold for large products with soft silicone rubber which will reduce the tensile and tear strength of the mold, and the mold will have deformation. Thus, we should take the proper silicone rubber to make the mold for suitable products.
