Method of electrolyte - plasma polishing ( also known as method of electrolyte – impulse or electrolyte - discharge polishing) is based on the phenomena of combined plasma and electrochemical process in the steam-gas thin-gap(jacket) between immersed electrode and electrolyte under influence of high voltage.
As result of this treatment will be removed few microns of superficial metal and surface obtain mirror shine. As well as disappear directional anisotropy which acquire by machine work.
In one operation it will possible to unite degreasing, etching and activation of surface. It is good way for surface preparing before PVD coating ( physical vapor deposition). Adhesion between coating and substrate is very strong after this treatment.
The method of electrolyte- plasma polishing has different areas of application such as:
• stainless steel and low carbon steels polishing
• cupper and cupper alloys polishing
• Ti , Mo, Ni and several other metals and alloys polishing.
• machining burrs removing
• featheredge blunting
• pretreatment for future electroplating
• Burnish a lot of goods such as bracelet, watch-chain, crockery etc. as final treatment.
