Dear Sir,
We have the pleasure in offering for sale two of the best priced stock lots we have ever handled.
It consist of a large quantity of Whisky, Rum & Brandy. Each bottle is individually packed in a cellophane The price is an unbelievable US$3.35 per bottle. This is not a miss-print. Just three US dollars and thirty-five cents per bottle. The stock is FOB Sydney, Australia and is divided into 2 stock lots:
Lot 1.
Democrat Whisky - 7,660 cartons = 91,920 bottles
Vat 999 Whisky - 8,279 cartons = 99,348 bottles
Constantino Brandy - 192 cartons = 2,304 bottles
Hercules Rum - 242 cartons = 2,904 bottles
Total: 196,476 bottles = 16.4 x (20') containers.
Lot 2.
Democrat Whisky - 12,000 cartons = 144,000 bottles
Hercules Rum - 2,700 cartons = 32,400 bottles
Total: 176,400 bottles = 15 x (20') containers.
Both lots can be purchased together or separately, but MUST be exported out of Australia due to very stringent Australian laws governing the importation and sale of alcohol.
The stock was originally purchased by an Australian company to sell on the Australian market. The company disregarded the legislation stating that the alcohol/volume content for any imported spirits must be at least 40% alc/vol.
The stock is 37% alc/vol, therefore not allowed to be sold in Australia.
The importing company has since filed for a bankruptcy and the finance company has decided to sell the stock to recoup part of the costs.
This is a golden opportunity for an astute buyer to make an extra-ordinary profit. In Australia the retail price for the above stock is equivalent to US$16 to US$18 per bottle.
