There are 2 forms; needles melt at about 155 degrees and prisms at about 235 degrees. Practically insoluble in water; soluble 1 in 41 of alcohol, 1 in 74 of chloroform, and 1 in 370 of ether; soluble in dimethylformamide; slightly soluble in acetone and ethyl acetate.
