Spray Lath V Ribbed |

Spray lath is used primarily on the West coast, where stucco is spray applied to the surface of the lath to build stucco thickness. Rib Lath is often attached directly to the vertical framing members without a solid board substrate included. Spray products are categorized as follows:
USE: For exterior stucco work over sheathing and as a plaster base over masonry walls. Self-furring embossed "V" groove holds the lath away from the surface to aid in the keying of stucco to the lath.

Self Furred Metal Lath |
|
|
Self-Furring Metal Lath is made for masonry surfaces with hardened concrete nails and fasteners. Materials used are usually hot dipped galvanized steel sheets.
Metal lath used over solid surfaces to be furred approximately inch away from the wall to allow for the proper stucco keying behind the lath. Self-furred diamond mesh lath has a surface studded in dimples or embossed “V” groove that provide the required ? inch of furring. Fastener placement should be arranged so as not to negate the furring mechanism.
Self-Furred Diamond Mesh Lath is secured to masonry surfaces with hardened concrete nails and power driven fasteners at the furring dimples. Paper backed lath is often used in this type of application as a bond breaker. |

Brickwork Reinforcement |

Embedded in the normal thickness of a brickwork joint, expanded metal reinforcement reduces the detrimental effects of vibration and changes of temperature. The application gives brickwork increased resistance to tensional stresses. The brickwork reinforcement (coil mesh) assists resistance to tensile stresses where settlement occurs. Easily incorporated into mortar course, coiled for ease of handing.
Applications:
concrete slabbing, roads, paving, foundations, marine work, bank strong rooms, partition slabs, concrete block work, asphalt guttering etc.
Installation:
Fix into mortar between brick courses leaving 25mm clearance from face of brickwork. All joints require an overlap of at least 75mm. The mesh can be laid every third brickwork course for most reinforcement. |

Knitted wire mesh demister pad is also known as mist eliminator or sprays. Knitted wire mesh demister pad is supplied in standard, high efficiency and high permeability. Demister Pads are essentially porous blankets of carefully knitted wire mesh designed and constructed to efficiently abate mist particles.
Knitted wire diameter used for the knitting directly affects flow, dirt holding capacity, pressure drop and cost. Knitted wire mesh demister pad is used to separate in the most efficient manner the very fine drops carried away by a gas or steam, either at a boiling stage, vacuum evaporation or bubbling of a liquid. In fact there are two phenomena, one mechanical and one physical, but no filtration at all since the size of the held drops has no relation with the infinitely greater size of the pore or open space. The head loss or gas passage resistance is practically imperceptible, however demisting can reach up to 99% efficiency. A demister reaches the highest efficiency when the speed of a gas or steam ranges between certain limits. |
