This series of ceramic PTC (positive temperature coefficient ) thermistors help provide protection against power cross, power induction surges and lighting surge defined in ITU, Telcordia, UL. Available in chip, radial-leaded coated and non-coated, SMD, twin vertical surface mount configuration. PTC thermistor overcurrent protector provides reversible, self-resetting protection against over-currents of telecommunication line protector units, improve the reliability of custom premises and network equipment.
Ceramic PTC thermistors can be found providing re-settable line protection at the exchange, monitoring hot spots and protecting ringers, battery feeds, transformers and relay circuits. Also used extensively to protect the mobile phone's battery pack against overcharging in land-based and radio mobile communications.
Advanced developments in telecom equipment in recent years have radically altered the protection requirements of both exchange and subscriber equipment. The PTC thermistor must protect the telephone line circuit against overcurrent, which may be caused by the following examples:
Surges due to lighting strikes on or near to the line plant.
Short-term induction of alternating voltage from adjactent power lines or railway systems, usually caused when these lines or systems develop faults
Direct contact between telephone lines and power lines.
To provide good protection under such conditions, a PTC thermistor is connected in series with each line, usually as secondary protection; However, even with primary line protection (usually a gas discharge tube), the PTC thermistor must fulfill severe requirements.
Surge pulses of upto 2KV can occur and in order to withstand short term power induction, the PTC thermistor must withstand high voltages. If the line has primary protection, a 220V to 300V PTC thermistor is adequate. Without primary protection, 600V PTC device is necessary. We can manufacture a series of PTC thermistor fulfilling both requirements.

NTC Thermistor can be assembled in housing in a variety of configurations for temperature sensing, measurement, detection, indicator, monitoring and control. Thermistor temperature sensor probe assemblies can conveniently attach to or be an integral part of any system to monitor or control temperature.The choice of assembly is dependent on the application. The primary factors which determine the optimum configuration of a thermistor assembly are the operating environment, mounting, time response and minimum dissipation constant.
The two factors which do vary considerably with thermistor sensor probe assembly design are time constant and dissipation constant. The time constant will typically be of greater duration in encapsulated thermistors. This is, of course, due to additional mass surrounding the thermistor element; therefore, extending the thermal transfer time. Dissipation constant will also be greater in assemblies. The additional housing mass serves well as a heat sink. Greater power is therefore required to induce self-heating. Both time constant and dissipation constant will vary with the selected thermistor and housing. Heat transfer properties of the housing, thermistor location, mass and wire type determine these constants.
Applications for temperature sensing include air temperature sensors, surface temperature sensors and immersion temperature sensors. Housings for air temperature sensors are often simple, inexpensive devices such as molded plastic shells, deep-drawn brass or aluminum cylinders, or even stainless steel tubes. Surface temperature sensors are designed to match the contour of the surface to be sensed, whether it's flat, curved, or round. Mounting holes or clips are often used to simplify installation of the sensor. Immersion temperature sensors are designed so that the sensing element will be surrounded by the medium to be sensed, often times a liquid. The sensing portion will normally protrude through a hole or orifice while a portion of the assembly will remain outside the medium to allow for the signal to be read. Immersion housings are usually threaded to allow them to be screwed into a hole or opening. Immersion part requests to be liquid and humidity prevention.
The material used for the housing will be dependent upon the temperature range needed, response time, cost, and special considerations such as UL, FDA or NSF requirements in food and/or medical applications. Some of the materials available include stainless steel, copper, plastic, teflon, brass, aluminum, epoxy and heat shrinkable tubing.

Selective absorption colored optical filter glass
This part of the glasses can be divided into 14 kinds and 78 types based on the color and application in this catalogue. The types are arranged in accordance with serial numbers, which have no special meaning.
Neutral filter glass
They are named based on the average transmissivity characteristics in 400nm to 700nm wavelength with 2mmthick sampler is 70%,then it's named as ZAB70.And there are ten types of glasses in this part. But three types of them(ZAB65,ZAB30,ZAB5)are tested in 440nm-660nm wavelength.

Applications for SHG and SFG of Nd: lasers
KTP is the most commonly used material for frequency doubling of Nd: YAG lasers and other Nd-doped lasers, particularly at the low or medium power density. The following Table lists the major NLO properties of KTP for frequency-doubling of Nd: YAG laser.

To date, extra- and intra-cavity frequency doubled Nd: lasers using KTP have become a preferred green laser source for many R&D, medical, industrial and commercial applications. By using extracavity KTP SHG, over 80% conversion efficiency and 700mJ green laser were obtained with a 900 mJ jection-seeded Q-switched Nd: YAG laser.

Chromium Doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet Cr4+:YAG Crystal
A High Power, Solid State and Compact Passive Q-switch
Passive Q-Switching is preferred for simplicity of manufacturing and operation, low cost and reduced system size and weight. Cr4+: YAG (Y3Al5O12) is an excellent crystal for passively Q-switching diode pumped or lamp-pumped Nd: YAG, Nd: YLF, Yb: YAG or other Nd and Yb doped lasers at wavelength from 1.0 to 1.2 mm. Because of its chemically stable, durable, UV resistant, good thermal conductivity and high damage threshold (> 500 MW/cm2) and being easy to be operated, it will replace traditional materials, such as, LiF, organic Dye and color centers.

AR-coatings and HR-coatings are also available. We can control the initial transmission (To) from 10% to 95% according to customer’s requirements. The preliminary experiments of WTS's Cr4+: YAG showed that the pulse width of passively Q-switched lasers could be as short as 9 ns for diode pumped Nd: YAG lasers and repetition as high as 10 kHz for diode pumped Nd: YVO4 lasers. Furthermore, an efficient green output at 532 nm, and UV output at 355 nm and 266 nm were generated, after a subsequent intracavity SHG in KTP for diode pumped and passive Q-switched Nd: YAG and Nd:YVO4 lasers.
Cr4+: YAG is also a laser crystal with tunable output from 1.35 mm to 1.6 mm. It can generate ultrashort pulse laser (to fs pulsed) when pumped by Nd: YAG laser at 1.064mm.
