Welded Reinforcement Mesh for Construction
Welded Reinforcement Mesh (for construction) is regularly used for concrete slab construction, such as roadways, in curved structures such as in domes and as bonding fabric for gunite. The cost, time and labor savings of welded wire fabric reinforcing offers an advantage over traditional tied rebar.
Welded Reinforcement Mesh can be classified into four major types:
1. Rectangular Welded Mesh with wires crossed in a form of a rectangle, and longitudinal wire as the supporting one;
2. Square opening welded steel mesh with wires crossed in a form of a square, and both longitudinal and transversal wires as supporting ones;
3. Welded Wire Mesh for vertical wall building;
4. Special type.
Above reinforcement mesh can all be used in concrete reinforcing. Concrete is one of the more common materials used in the construction of commercial buildings. Its properties make concrete an excellent choice for steel structures, cladding systems and floor slabs on grade.
Although concrete is an excellent building material and is extremely strong in compression, it has one limitation - concrete is weak in tension. By combining concrete with material that is strong in tension, we can create a composite that greatly reinforced. This type of steel reinforcement used in concrete is welded wire mesh (WWM) or welded wire fabric (WWF).

Steel Palisade Fences are available in a choice of head styles, in either type:'w' or 'd' pale section. D pale is the traditional profile while W pale offers added security to the fencing. Steel palisade fence is manufactured with hot dipped galvanized steel bar or pvc coated steel bar welded together.
The forbidding appearance and inherent strength of the pales provide an effective deterrent to would be intruders. Palisade fencing is offered in a range of heights up to 3.6 metres, and is self-adjusting to slopes of up to 1 in 3.
We can supply palisade assembled in panels, or bundled for site assembly along with either bolts or rivets.
Palisade fence is available in a range of finishes, galvanised in, or galvanised and colour coated in various colours to blend with the environment.
Construction of Steel Palisade:
A standard panel is constructed from hot and cold rolled steel sections supplied for assembly on site. Panels consist of 17 vertical pales manufactured in "D" or "W" profile with a choice of tops. The pales are fixed to rolled steel angle horizontals which are supported by 102 x 44 joist posts.

| Si Windows Silicon (Si) is grown by Czochralski pulling techniques (CZ) and contains some oxygen that causes an absorption band at 9 microns. To avoid this, material can be prepared by a Float-Zone (FZ) process. Optical silicon is generally lightly doped (5 to 40 ohm cm) for best transmission above 10 microns, and doping is usually boron (P-type) and phosphorus (N-type). After doping silicon has a further pass band: 30 to 100 microns which is effective only in very high resistivity uncompensated material. CZ Silicon is commonly used as substrate material for infrared reflectors and windows in the 1.5-8 micron region. The strong absorption band at 9 microns makes it unsuitable for CO2 laser transmission applications, but it is frequently used for laser mirrors because of its high thermal conductivity and low density.
