Why the silicon pad is non-durable？
1. It has something to do with the addition of silicone oil. More silicone oil added, softer the pad printing will be, meanwhile the pad will be turned to be non-durable and easy ageing;
2. Some customers are unawre of the performance of silicone rubber. Actually, the durability of silicone printing pad is closely related to the size of printing patterns. Usually, we use large silicon pad for big patterns. On the contrary, small silicone pad ofr small patterns. Generally, the ratio of pad to pattern is 3:1.
Why the silicon pad did not absorb the ink?
Any silicon pad or liquid silicon rubber could absorb ink well. If large patterns or big letters need to print, the printing pad will for sure absorb ink well. For small letters, please do not use hard silicon pad, as it could not absorb the printing ink thoroughly from the steel plate.

FAQ:Why the silicon pad can not transfer the printing pattern well?
It is normal phenomena that every two out of ten products have this problem if the plastic toys are not spray painted. As in the production process, mold release agent will be sprayed onto the surface of the steel plate for each one dozen products, and there will be some mold release agent left on the surface of the first one or two product. Please use Tianna water or face-clean water to clean the products before used for pad printing.

Why does the condensation silicon rubber mold appear to be dry outside but wet inside?
Usually, we will dry out the water of the condensation silicon rubber to make sure its long shelf-life, while condensation silicon rubber is a kind of condensation silicon rubber, which get solidified after absorbing water from the air.
The best solution to it is to add 0.05% water into the silicon rubber and stir it slowly when you want to use it.

Three factors can lead to such a problem:
1. Adding too much silicone oil into the mold making silicone rubber, for silicone oil is an additive which destroies the molecular weight of mold making silicone rubber and reduce the tesion and tear strength;
2. Using the mold making silicone rubber with a low hardness to make molds for small-size products in delicate and intricate designs, or the mold making silicone rubber with a low hardness to make molds for large-size products in simple designs;
3. Putting the mold making silicone rubber molds into mass reproduction within 24 hours. In most cases, we advise our customers mass reproduction with silicone rubber molds in 24 hours, because the performance of mold making silicone rubber can be stable in 24 hours.

RTV-2 Mold Making Silicone Rubber Application:
RTV-2 mold making silicone rubber is mainly applied for making various molds, such as reproduction of poly resin, epoxy, polyurethane-polymer, plaster, gypsum, soaps, candle& lighting, architecture, decorative arts and crafts, plastic toy, gift and stationery, big statue, cultural relic products, and etc.
RTV-2 mold making silicone rubber advantages: good tension and tear strength, high reproduction times and with restistance of high temperature, etc.

RTV-2 Mold Making Silicone Rubber Opearations:
RTV-2 mold making silicone rubber contains two parts: part A is liquid silicone rubber, part B is curing agent.
1. Mix both A and B parts totally by weight at the ratio of 100:2 (A to B) in a clean container. Making sure that A and B mixed evenly, otherwise the compound will be partly solidified and this will give birth to difficulties in the following operations, leading to the short life of your final molds.
2. Degas the compound by a vacuum pump about 3-5 minutes (usually no more than 10 minutes), otherwise, it will cause cross linking reaction, and no more further operations will be available.
3. Make molds in brushing way or pouring way according to the size of your products.
