4. Shoe Mold Silicone Rubber Using Instruction:
The component A of shoe Mold Silicone Rubber is white flowing liquid and the component B is the curing agent.
a. Take silicone rubber of 100g and add 2% curing agent for mixing evenly.
b. After the silicone rubber and the curing agent are completely mixed, put the silicon into a vacuum machine for deairing to remove the bubbles.
c. After deaired, pouring the liquid silicone rubber into the product to be duplicated or into the mold frame.
Notes:
Shoe mold silicone rubber is used for pouring or brushing technique. That is to say, fix the product or sole model to be duplicated onto a plane plate, then enclose the plane frame with wooden plates to prevent the leakage of the silicon, mix the silicone rubber and the curing agent evenly according to the mixing ratio of 100 : 2 and pour them onto the sole model, then brush evenly with a wooden plate or a brush, and fill up the mold frame with gypsum after the silicone rubber is dried.

mixing data for silicon and curing agent
a. Added with 1% of curing agent, silicon can still flow within 2.5 hours, mold can be released in6-8 hours.
b. Added with 2% of curing agent, silicon can still flow within 50 minutes to 1 hour, mold can be released in 2-3 hours.
c. Added with 3% of curing agent, silicon can still flow within 28-30 minutes, mold can be released in 1.5-2 hours
d. Added with 4% of curing agent, silicon can still flow within 10-15 minutes, mold can be released in 1-1.5 hours
e. Curing agent reaction rate is related with weather and temperature. Under 25 degree, they can be added according to the instruction or at double amount in winter or under subzero temperature.
(Note: Curing agent can not be added above the 4% maximum level and the normal proportion is 2%. If more than 4% is applied, the silicon will condensate too fast for normal usage).

Manual Molding Silicone Rubber is a flowable liquid with consistent quality in whatever color. Part A is a folwable liquid, part B is the curing agent. Prepare the original mold or product to copy, add 2%-3% curing agent to certain amount of silicon, and mix them evenly and they are ready for use. In 2-3 hours, a pair of silicone mold can be obtained with temperature and deformation resistance as well as low contraction ratio. The product is intended principally for manual molding and small quantity product duplication.

Manual Molding Silicone Rubber is mainly used for model design of :

c. Operation Instructions for Manual Molding Silicone Rubber
RTV-2 Manual Molding Silicone Rubber is a flowable liquid, and the quality has nothing to do with the color. It consists of two component. Part A is a flowable liquid silicone rubber, part B is the curing agent. Firstly, after your previous work of dealing with the original model, take some liquid silicone rubber , add 2%-3% curing agent of the amount of silicon, and mix them evenly. Then after vacuum-pumping the mixture, you can pour it into the mold frame. The silicone mold will cured in 2-3 hours.
Note: The time for vacuum-pumping should be less than 3—5 mins ,otherwise, once the silicone rubber has cross-link reaction during vacuumizing, it will not be operated. We offer free CD on how to operate and provide on-line follow-up technical training service for customers’ reference.
3. FAQ of manual molding silicone rubber
How to prevent silicone manual molds getting sticky?
a. The main reason for this problem is that you do not handle the products or original molds well, then you should deal with the original mold or products carefully before molding. Such as for the products with a complicated pattern or a unsmoothed surface, you should polish and clean the products after which it will be molded ,then spray the release agent. Normally, the release agent can be Vaseline , detergent. liquid wax Etc. In practical process, you can bush different release agent according to different material.
b. The second reason is that the operator pour the silicone into the mold when the mixture is mixed evenly, then the finish silicone mold will not cure and dry entirely.
